Joanna Matthews is a former Gymnast and Diver, participating at National Level in both sports. Joanna started coaching at the age of 14, is qualified to Proficiency level, Women's Artistic Level 2 and is working towards her level 3 qualification. Joanna decided in 2016 to join the Luton Gymnastics Club on a full time basis and currently handles on line registrations and administration matters on behalf of the club. She has a passion to see Gymnasts progrees to the best that they can be and is motivational in encouraging gymnasts into competition. Other qualifications include 1st Aid in Sport. Joanna is in charge for the development of the Luton Gymnastics Clubs's programme. Joanna serves on the Committee for Bedfordshire gymnastics.
